Dr. Hughes was the recipient of the Robert L. Ney Award at UNC-Chapel Hill. This award is presented to a senior resident in recognition of commitment to academic excellence, a compassionate approach to patient care and, most of all, an inspirational effect on others. She previously volunteered in the Hospice at the Texas Medical Center and as a writing tutor. She is married, has a daughter, and enjoys hockey games and classical music. Dr. Hughes is accepting new pediatric patients at our North Raleigh satellite office.
